Seniors who missed senior picture day or who need a retake need to call Lifetouch to schedule an appointment for Tuesday, October11 at 800-949-5353.  Picture retake day for underclassmen will also be Tuesday, October 11.  Flyers are available in the office.

Big Y will be holding a job fair from Oct. 4-15 at 33 Park Street in Lee and is accepting applications online at www.bigy.com/careers.

The Lee High Girls Soccer will hold a Bottle and Can Drive on Sat., Sept. 17, from 10-12.  For pick up leave bottles and cans at end of driveway before 10 am - or drop them off to Berkshire Liquors on Canal St. in Lee on Sat. between 10 and 12.  

Auditions for this year's Shakespeare and Company Fall Festival play will begin on Monday, September 19th.  Audition times will be announced as soon as they are available.  Hope to see many of you there!

If any students are interested in volunteering this year at the Brock Trot on September 25th please see Mr. Reilly as soon as possible.   This event raises thousands of dollars to fight lung cancer in honor of a local man that passed away.   You will receive a free t-shirt and have a great time for volunteering.

The Fall College Fair will be held at the Alumni Health Living Center at the Western New England University in Springfield on Sunday, Sept. 18 from 4-6 p.m.

The Following college reps will be at LMHS next week, any senior who would like to meet with the reps can sign up in the guidance office:  Wednesday (9/21) MCLA at 12:30 p.m.; Thursday (9/22) Suffolk University at 12:30 p.m.  Seniors are responsible for making up any classwork that they will miss.

Senior dues of $100 should be paid to Mrs. Brouker or online at www.leepublicschools.net.

Sign-ups for Decathlon and Quiz Team are on the counter in the Main Office and if students have any questions please see either Mr. Hall or Mrs. Wade.

The School Store will be Mondays and Weds. only during Middle School lunch for Middle School students only and High School lunches for High School students only.  Mrs. Connor’s students will help run the school store.

As part of the 2011 Founder's Day Weekend on September 23 and 24, The Student Educational Development Fund and the Lee Cultural Council are presenting the first ever “Lee Idol”, a contest of singers and musicians of all ages who live or work in Lee. All entrants will have an opportunity to showcase their talent on the stage of the new Spectrum Playhouse at 20 Franklin Street. On Friday, September 23, starting at 8 pm, performers will be judged by three local celebrity judges. On Saturday the 24th, the finalists will perform and a winner will be chosen by audience secret ballot. The winning act will receive a $100 cash prize.  The deadline to enter is Wednesday, September 21 at 5 PM. To enter, contact Chris Collins of the Lee Cultural Council at 413-281-1662. 

 

Attention all 18 year olds: Voter registration cards are available in the guidance office. 

Any male student who is 18 or older must register for selective service to be eligible for financial aid.
