COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The eighth grade Science class is a general introduction to life sciences and our environment. Topics of study include classification of life, cells, evolution, genetics, living systems and their environment, body systems and reproduction. This class lays the foundation for higher levels of science, in particular, Biology, and serves as a precursor for the MCAS Biology Test in 10th grade.
