REPORT CARDS WERE MAILED OUT ON 2/3/2012.

 

Any juniors who are interested in attending the Springfield National College Fair on Monday, March 5th can sign up in the guidance office.  The bus will leave LMHS at approx. 8:50 a.m. and will return early afternoon.  There is a $3 bus fee.

 

Any students interested in playing any spring sports need to sign up in either the main office or on the correct sheet on Mr. Reilly's door.

 

The Class of 2013 is putting on a "Dancing in the Dark" dance for all high school students on Friday (2/17) from 7-10 p.m. The cost is $5, and be sure to wear all white!

 

Any middle or high school student interested in serving on the Lee Public Schools’ Wellness Committee should sign up in the office by Friday (2/17). For details, you can speak to Mrs. Brouker or call Mrs. Warner at Lee Elementary School.

 

BCC will be offering a course to seniors called “A Journey Through Massachusetts’ Constitution” at the Intermodal Education Center in Pittsfield.  The cost is $45.  Information is available in the office.

 

Zonta Young Women in Public Affairs Award of $500 is available to young women aged 16-19 in Berkshire County. The application form is available in the guidance office and has a deadline of Friday, March 16, 2012. This award is open to young women who have an active commitment to volunteerism, experience in local or student government; volunteer leadership achievements, and knowledge of Zonta International and its programs.  The local winner will be entered in the Zonta District 1 competition where the young woman has the opportunity to be awarded an additional $1,000. District winners will, in turn, be eligible for one of 6 International awards of $3,000 each.

 

Attn. juniors and sophomores: The Christian A. Herter Memorial Scholarship applications are available in the guidance office.  This scholarship is for 10th and 11th graders only who display strong academic promise, but whose socio-economic background and environmental conditions may inhibit their ability to pursue a post-secondary education.

 

Senior dues of $100 should be paid to Mrs. Brouker or online at www.leepublicschools.net.

 

Attention seniors: Scholarship lists and applications are available in the guidance office.  Seniors should be checking the scholarships on a weekly basis.

 

The School Store will be Mondays and Weds. only during Middle School lunch for Middle School students only and High School lunches for High School students only.  Mrs. Connor’s students will help run the school store.

 

Attention all 18 year olds: Voter registration cards are available in the guidance office.

 

Any male student who is 18 or older must register for selective service to be eligible for financial aid.

 

TODAY’S LUNCH IS:  French bread pizza or pizza slice or deli & salad bar with vegetable soup.
